Mr. Bean ROCKS!!!!

He just had flowers delivered to my office for no reason other than to say he loves me. AND, he done good with the flowers - no roses or baby's breath, which I'm not fond of, and in a really cool ceramic pitcher instead of your normal glass vase - and the tulips - purple, orange, red, white - GORGEOUS!!!

YOU ROCK BUBBE!!!! And I most definitely love you too.

Happy Easter from your Very Happy Beanster!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, be it your celebrating Easter, Passover or not a thing at all. We're going to see the folks in Ro-cha-cha and to see our favorite puppy in the whole wide world - JEFFERSON KENNEDY DOG! We're coming Jefferson, we're coming!

This reminds me of an easter story many years ago when we first had Jefferson. Mr. Bean's parents came to visit us so we bought Jefferson bunny ears to celebrate the day. Well, we were taking pictures on the front porch when all of a sudden, J took off a running as fast as she could to some other puppies in the neighborhood, still wearing her ears. She didn't mind wearing them at all. The other puppies were looking at her like she was a crazy animal; and there she was, with not a care in the world.

One of the million reasons I love my Baby J.

Priorities and Responsibilities.

The main thing I hate about being an adult is having priorities and responsibilities. And the only thing I miss about being a child is NOT having priorities and responsibilities.

The priorities for me as an adult are for the most part boring - work and home. And the responsibilities even more so - getting paid, paying bills, taking care of the home, taking care of family.

But I want to add to my list of priorities and responsibilities. Just one more thing but it would be huge to me. I want to be a parent. I want to make a child my priority and have the responsibility to love, clothe, feed, bathe, give a home to, educate and again love that child. So far, however, that priority and responsibility hasn't happened yet.

And it makes me sad.

Although I'm glad to work, get paid, pay bills, etc. for Mr. Bean, he is an adult and can do all of that for himself. Although he wants me, he doesn't NEED me for those priorities and responsibilities. I want someone to NEED me for them. And I don't feel bad for saying that because I know he feels the same way I do.

So here's hoping to add to our priority and responsibility list.

Well, that dad-burned Mouse got me again.

We weren't going to do it. Not this year. We have already done it way too much before. It just wasn't right. We really needed to make a change.

But we couldn't. We just keep getting drawn back in. It just won't let us go.

Hello, my name is Bean and I have a Walt Disney World obsession.

Well, as we went to the great Land of the Mouse twice last year, we thought - no trip to see Walt and friends this year. Instead, we're going to California in November - as y'all well know from a previous post.

We're also taking a trip to the Adirondacks as we do most years.

Then I got what I thought was an April Fool's joke. On 4/1, I found out WDW was having a DEAL. They were giving away something for FREE. WHAT?!?!?!?!? That never happens! Granted, I get an amazing amount of pixie dust and joy when I go, I'm usually paying for it. But this time? An honest to goodness, bonafide FREE ITEM?!?!?!?!

I almost passed out from the shock, but I quickly composed myself and got on the phone ASAP so I didn't lose out as I was sure a million of my closest disney rivals would also be clammering for the same thing and I didn't want them to run out.

Yes folks, WDW was giving away FREE FOOD.

And what does this mean? This means that if I stayed on-site and bought my tix from them, THEY WOULD GIVE ME ALL THE FREE FOOD I COULD STAND!!!! One counter service meal, one sit-down service meal which included an appetizer, entree and dessert, all with drinks (non-alcoholic of course) and a snack EACH DAY I WAS THERE!!

Now, I've done this dining plan deal before; but I paid for it - and even when I paid for it I thought it was a good deal. And NOW they're giving it to me for FREE!!!

Yes, that dang Mouse got me again.

So in addition to the trip to California and the trip to the Adirondacks, I am once again getting my fix and visiting the Mouse in September/October.

I'm a sick woman.
